what we'll do with your strike account

we will:

  • read your strike handle, avatar, and currency settings (so we can mirror your identity into your block)
  • create lightning invoices on your behalf when another citizen zaps you (so you receive sats)
  • generate quotes and execute lightning payments when you zap another citizen (only if you opt in to outbound zaps on /zaps)
  • read the status of those invoices and payments (so the city can confirm settlement and publish zap receipts)

we won't:

  • ever see your strike password, OTP, or any login credentials (you authorize this through strike's own consent screen)
  • have access to your strike balance beyond what strike's API exposes for the actions above
  • move funds without your action (every zap is initiated by you, not by us)
  • share, sell, or log your strike profile data beyond what's needed to settle a zap
